| This TV is just great!
Fantastic picture, lof of features and connections,
Really good sound (this is my first TV out of the 5 I owned till now, where the speech is well understandable and clear).
I switched from a Philis 32PF9731D, that was also a good piece of HW, but this one is really superb in all aspects.
Media Playback from USB is just great.
No need for an extra DVD player, just using my 2.5" WD HDD, and can see a nice movies on the screen.

| Problems: -Media playback: although the platform would be capable to do it (it can decode Full-HD DVB-T signal), it does not support MKV playback, and 1080 resoltuion videos via USB. Some 720P still works, but only 30-40% success rate (but those one then really come down from the screen)
-No Subtitle support for DivX, XVid. Not a big deal (any chinese DVD player can do it), but seems the SW developers at Philips are just lazy... |
