| Purchased 28/11/2009.
First attractied to cabinet design. Rounded edges,soft easy to look finish,also of course Philips reputation as I am from the old school and have been aquanted with the Philips brand for many years.
Super picture,quality.
Having said all that,my dissapoinments are....... unattractive programme guide layout.. instead of clean white edgings the whole appearance is of a fuzzy edgedl grid.The edging being of a blue colour. Similer to a convergance misalignment and no programme guide appearance on quite a few occasions.. A miserable on screen volume indicator.,again not a crisp strip as on most other makes.
As said,the set is good to look at,the picture quality great,but all spoilt by the orrible periphials,and the not always positive responses from the hand set.
Conclusion.... If Sony or Panasonic had designed a set other than the total black picture frame types,they would have had my business,as my previous Sony was excellent in all aspects.
